Bella House provides resources and support for mothers experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. 

While in the Bella House residential or community outreach program, a mother will receive love, encouragement, and resources to help her prepare for motherhood, grow spiritually, set personal goals and gain independence. Transformation to independence is the long-term goal and a mother's stay in our residential program can last up to two years. We walk with our families in outreach for three years. Each mother's path is unique. We guide their path, but the mothers in our program work hard and choose their success every day. 

Remembering Rose Lorenz, former Bella House Executive Director

Rose Lorenz served as the Executive Director of Bella House from 2019-2021. Prior to taking the role of Executive Director, she served as a volunteer and a Board Member. Rose was instrumental in Bella House securing our first home in Plano and helping to facilitate the lease and eventual purchase of our Dallas home. She helped Bella House to build our program and developed our staff model to what it is today. Rose was at the helm during the chaotic years of Covid and she never stopped sharing her joy and love with our staff and our mothers, through the unprecedented times of masks and daily temperature checks in the homes. She helped Bella House to become the successful nonprofit that it is today and her leadership helped to make us a sustainable organization. Rose was always proudly prolife and she was an advocate for the mothers and babies in our program. She knew what a blessing the babies were at Bella House, but she also desired for the mothers in our homes to also know God's love. She was one of the most loving people and she was always willing to provide guidance, support and a kind smile. To know Ms. Rose was to know love and kindness personified. ​

The memorial service for Rose will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 16, 2026 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 110 St. Gabriel Way, McKinney, Texas 75071.
